Wedding Packages for Close-Up Magic

Here’s one of those charts that gives a side-by-side comparison of the Close-Up Magic Wedding Packages I offer, but scroll down a little more for a more detailed breakdown. The Premium Deluxe package is the ultimate Magic Wedding Host, in which I host the day (and is A LOT more than just magic!)

Premium Deluxe: Ultimate Wedding (with Hosting) Package

This is a full all day wedding hosting package that not only ensures your guests are entertained through-out the whole day (starting from the end of the ceremony, right through to the First Dance and disco). It involves so much it has it’s own page – but to summarise it starts with mi & mingle magic at the afternoon reception, calling guest through to the wedding breakfast, introducing the bride and groom, more close-up magic at the tables, an after-dinner mindreading cabaret show to warm the guests up before introducing the speeches. Then it continues with more close-up magic during the evening reception whilst the evening entertainment is prepared (and great for getting evening guests involved) before introducing the cutting of the cake and the first dance. Phew!

Deluxe Day: Day Time Wedding (with Hosting) Package

This is a slightly reduced version full all day wedding hosting package. Like the Premium Deluxe it ensures your guests are entertained through-out the whole day, but the package comes to an once the wedding breakfast is complete. This means you still have all the benefits of mix & mingle magic around the afternoon drinks reception, introducing the wedding breakfast, more close-up magic, the after-dinner mindreading show to captivate your guests before introducing the speeches in a fun and memorable way.

This is perfect for weddings with no additional evening guests, or at a venue where guests will want to check-in to their rooms before the evening reception.

Premium Reception: Afternoon Reception + Wedding Breakfast

This package kicks off with entertaining the guests at the afternoon reception with mix & mingle close-up magic. This is a critical time as it really sets the tone for the rest of the day. Typically the guests will know each other, but experiencing fun and entertaining high quality magic not only gets them involved, but also interacting with each other so that the conversations continue afterwards.

Then once the guests are called through to the wedding breakfast I continue around the tables. Bare in mind that although you guests may be called through to take their seats at 4:00pm, there could be a good 30 minutes (or more!) until food is actually served. During this time I continue to perform close-up magic around the tables to keep the energy and momentum of the day going. I work with the staff ensuring that I am not in the way of the food service, and not interrupting the guests who have been served and are just about to eat.

Of course, this also means that the top table don’t miss out (especially if they’ve been posing for photographs all afternoon), and get a special trick.

Typically this package last around 2.5 hours, although I do aim to be flexible on the day to make the maximum impact. Whether it’s 1.5 hours of the drinks reception and 1 hour around the tables, or a 2 hour reception with a shorter time around the tables; the bringing together the two elements of the day with close-up magic adds consistency and flow, yet at the same time changing the dynamics.

Great for if you don’t require me to host your wedding and just want your guests to experience my amazing close-up magic.

Reception: Afternoon OR Evening Only Wedding Reception

Although I offer all these different packages, sometimes you just want 2 hours of close-up magic to slot into your agenda for the day. Although this may not have all the “bells and whistles” of the hosting packages, it’s still means your guests experience some fantastic close-up magic at your wedding.

There’s two main times when I am booked to entertain at weddings; the afternoon or the evening.

If I perform in the afternoon then I’m there keeping the guests entertained during the afternoon reception photo period. You don’t want your guests standing around talking about the weather for an hour do you? (I bet you’ve been to a wedding like that before; boring, isn’t it?!)

Another popular time is in the evening after the meal whilst the disco sets up and evening guests arrive. I interact with your guests, getting their names, building groups and sparking conversation between them as I mingle around. This is great because not only do your guests get involved in the magic, but as the bride and groom you aren’t going off for more photographs so have more opportunity to get involved yourselves.

Perfect if time is limited, your wedding has a smaller number of guests, or you have other entertainment going on through-out the day
