It doesn’t happen very often in life that you are genuinely blown away by something utterly fantastic, but that is exactly what happened when we booked Robert Bone for Ratcella.Robert is an absolutely amazing magician. A wizard, if I may.The tricks Rob performed throughout the festival were simply ridiculous. Even now, people are still talking about them and trying to work out how on earth he did what he did.Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side for part of the day and we all ended up sheltering under the marquee. In hindsight, that actually worked in Rob’s favour, as it gave him the opportunity to move around the guests, engage with everyone personally and perform his incredible close-up magic at close quarters. The reactions from friends and family said it all. Faces were filled with astonishment, disbelief and wonder. The nervous laughter and giggles that followed each trick came from people simply not being able to comprehend what they had just witnessed. One particular trick Rob performed on me was completely off the charts. It left me and the rest of the guests utterly dumbfounded. What impressed me just as much as the magic itself was Rob’s professionalism. He remembered the names of the people he was performing for and would cleverly refer back to them during later tricks with other guests. It created a personal connection and had everyone laughing even more. And it wasn’t just the adults who were captivated. The magic he performed for the children was thoughtful, engaging and heart-warming. The expressions on their faces were absolutely priceless and worth the booking fee alone. If you are looking for a magician for a wedding, party, festival or corporate event, look no further than Robert Bone. He is incredibly talented, utterly professional and a genuine gentleman. In fact, Rob performed for longer than he needed to because he was so committed to ensuring everyone had a fantastic experience. He brought an extra touch of magic to Ratcella and helped make the event the success it was. I will 100% be booking him again.Thank you, Rob. - Matthew S. - 16 Jun 2026
