A Poem About Robert Bone, Mindreader

Here’s a little bit of fun. I’m a member of a local networking group, and at every meeting members have an opportunity to speak about their business, what they do, and the types of clients they have. I’ve noticed that some members increase how they stand out and make themselves more memorable by reading a poem – instead of ad-libbing around some bullet points, or just making it up as they go along until their time runs out!

I thought I’d have a go at this myself (although I must admit I did get a little help to get things started).

Robert Bone, Mindreader Poem

If you want your event to truly shine,
Robert Bone’s the one, he’s always on time.
A mindreader with skill, sharp as a dart,
He’ll read the room, straight to the heart.

No guessing games, no awkward pause,
He’ll know your thoughts, without a cause.
In meetings or mixers, his talent’s pure gold,
Unlocking insights that are yet to unfold.

I hope you enjoyed by little poem. Ok, so it may not win many awards, and I don’t think I’ll be bothering the likes of Keates, Wordsworth and Sassoon; but it’s a little bit of fun. It’s also a lot better than the limerick I first attempted.
