New Podcast – Having A Cuppa

I’m in the process of setting up a new podcast – well, technically restarting the one I launched over five years ago but only did a couple of episodes of. I’m giving the format a couple of tweaks and relaunching the “Having A Cuppa” podcast.

The concept is a 20 minute chat (with cup of tea in hand) with someone who is interesting, and has an interesting story to tell or thing to talk about. It will also be fun with plenty of laughs along the way.

What I’m trying to recreate are those social situations when you are talking to someone and you find out they’ve done something you are interested in, and you want to find out a little more about it.

Basically interesting people talking about interesting things, whilst drinking a cup of tea.

It will be a combination of conversations via Zoom and live face-to-face chats. Although it will be primarily an audio podcast (via the usual podcast outlets), the recording will be filmed it so will also be available to watch on YouTube. And naturally clips and highlights will go on my social media streams.

Talking of social media, follow me on Instagram and Facebook for updates, but in the meantime I’m also looking for guests who would like to have a cuppa and a chat with me. The subject could be anything interesting (unusual jobs, hobbies, achievements, funny stories, or new ventures), and won’t be just about me talking about performing magic at events.
