Robert’s June 2025 Newsletter: Mindreading Show in Reading, Christmas, Dinner Parties, and more live shows!

Welcome to the June 2025 edition of my newsletter; announcing a new live show in Reading in July, dinner parties, and even looking ahead to Christmas.

New Live Show:
Wednesday 9th July, Reading

Tickets are available for my new show in Reading on Wednesday 9th July, and they are already selling fast. This is a full evening show, with two 45 minute halves. It will feature items from my existing repertoire (that is only usually performed at corporate events and private bookings); as well as new material, and things that I rarely perform.

It’s going be full of fun at the time, but guaranteed to leave your head spinning afterwards.

The show will be in an exclusive theatre room tucked away in The Roseate Hotel in Reading. There is parking, but it is conveniently close to Reading Central Station. The venue has a bar and restaurant within, so a great excuse to make a night of it.

The audience is strictly limited to just 30 people, which will ensure a unique, exclusive and personal experience for all. This does also mean it’s liable to sell out quickly so pre-booking is essential.

Times: 7:30pm to 9:45/10:00pm (show starts 8:00pm, with 20 minute interval)

Christmas Parties

For the fourth year running I’ll be back at Sandford Springs Golf Club performing close-up magic at their Christmas Party evenings for four dates during December.

As ever I’ll be entertaining the guests with close-up magic at the drinks reception, then around the tables between the courses. Tables can be booked for groups of all sizes.

I also have availability throughout December for private and corporate functions so please check for your party.

Dinner Parties

Those that follow me on social media may recall that I started the year by performing at a private dinner party for a lovely lady called Prue.

Following from the success of the evening I have developed some Dinner Party packages, which offer close-up magic and parlour mindreading. These packages have specifically designed for small intimate audiences around the dinner table.

Future Live Shows

Unfortunately the evening of close-up magic and mindreading cabaret at Whitehill and Bordon Forest Community Centre on Saturday 26th April was cancelled by the venue. I wasn’t been given a reason why, but they have promised that the show will be rescheduled for a future date.

BACK TO MILFORD ON SEA FOR A NEW 2026 SHOW
I’m glad I didn’t send this newsletter out the other day as it has just been confirmed that I will be back to Milford on Sea Community Centre (in the New Forest, Hampshire) on Saturday 28th March 2026. This will be my third performance at the venue – which will include close-up magic, a two course meal, and finishing with a 45 minute show.

As it just confirmed the other day I’ll provide more details and booking links once known, but if you are in the New Forest area be sure to pop the date in your diary.
